The House

Dating back to the 16th-century, Casa Antica is a beautifully restored town house located in the Centro Storico, the "historical centre" of Turi.

 

Set over three floors it offers three double bedrooms, a huge "living" kitchen, a sitting room, bathroom, shower room and separate wc. In addition there is a large private roof terrace. All bedding and towels are provided. The house is simply but comfortably furnished and care has been taken to reflect the simple charm of this beautiful building with the contents. If you are looking for traditional 5* luxury this may not be the house for you. If on the other hand you seek old style charm and a taste of authentic Italy (but with a few mod cons) then this is it!

 

Turi is both a fantastic and well-located base from which to explore the surrounding area and a tranquil and often surprising place in its own right. With a weekly market (Friday), numerous bars and several restaurants within a few minutes walk, you can do as much or as little as you please.

 

Please note - due to the layout of the house (over 3 levels) and the unforgiving stone floors - we would suggest the house is probably not suitable for families with young children or for the infirm.
